Side Quest
Video game, 4-channel audio installation (2026)
Side Quest is an exhibition conceived for the art center Ygrec-ENSAPC, developed from a bespoke video game built out of interviews with professional players. The project brings together narrative fragments drawn from e-sports with core mechanisms of game design, examining how games organise actions and decisions. By repurposing these logics, the exhibition exposes their underlying assumptions and structural limits.
Visitors enter through a narrow threshold marked by two doors, stepping first into a transitional space before reaching a room where replicas of apples lie scattered across the floor. Stars punctuate the space like displaced rewards, suspended between decoration and objective, while the video game waits to be activated.
